Starting from the hazard class, the International Regulations have identified different rules and practices for their handling for different types of transport.
Every person involved in the transfer of dangerous goods must comply with precise obligations set out in the UN Regulations, which establish (in short):
CSI, availing itself of the acknowledgements by the Italian Ministry of Transport, is the Technical Testing and Approval Body for each type of packaging and for all modes of transport.
It is also recognised as Technical Service for inspections and tests on packaging for the transport of dangerous goods by the Luxembourg Ministry of Transport.
