SA 8000 Certification - Corporate Social Responsibility

SA 8000

The SA 8000 standard, being a voluntary standard of social compliance, contains nine social requirements aimed at increasing the competitive capacity of those companies that voluntarily provide a guarantee of the ethics of their production chain and production cycle.

The benefits of SA 8000 certification

As consumers have developed a strong awareness of social issues, working conditions are an important aspect of a company's image. The SA 8000 standard, to demonstrate corporate social responsibility, takes into consideration not only aspects relating to the employees of a company such as health and safety, discrimination, disciplinary practices, child labor, working hours, remuneration but also considers the management systems related to the control of the supply chain and the management of external communication.

Social certification allows you to obtain the following benefits:

  • Improve its image and reputation externally
  • Provide guarantees against the exploitation of minors and respect for human and workers' rights
  • Ensure safety and healthiness in the workplace
  • Investing in human capital, in the environment and in relationships with other interested parties
  • Greater ease of access to financing channels
